What can I say。 Not sure what I was expecting， but it was an interesting time， I’m invested。 I’m curious to see where this goes with book 2。 I kinda wish this was dual POV just to get into Kaden’s head。

Y’all， this was really good！Ive been burned by new takes on wolf packs before so honestly I didn’t know what to expect here but it was everything and then some。 The dynamic of the different packs being represented by the zodiacs really worked for me。 Giving them all abilities based on those signs also was such a good touch。Our leading lady not being a chosen one while starting out broken and weak was a solid choice。 Because while you root for her since moment one you also get to see her grow and Y’all， this was really good！Ive been burned by new takes on wolf packs before so honestly I didn’t know what to expect here but it was everything and then some。 The dynamic of the different packs being represented by the zodiacs really worked for me。 Giving them all abilities based on those signs also was such a good touch。Our leading lady not being a chosen one while starting out broken and weak was a solid choice。 Because while you root for her since moment one you also get to see her grow and change。 It’s something so rarely shown for women in books I was very here for it。 Also the tension in the differences with bonds， both pack bonds but also mating bonds was also awesome。 And the different witch covens？ This author took really basic tropes and switched them up， made them their own。 I was here for it。 I am a sucker for angst so I wish there had been more of that but otherwise this is a solid start to a series and I can’t wait to see what happens next。 。。。more

~5 ⭐️ Shifter Romance I burned through this book in a day！ The concept of the wolves being in packs based on the Zodiac is super cool！ It makes it stand out from other werewolf romances。 It’s also got the “star crossed lovers” trope down pat！ Romance and steam is mid level rising up to super hot in some parts。 I can’t wait to see where the rest of story goes！

I loved this book！ My only complaint would be that the main female character is constantly being harmed and mistreated by everyone who should love and protect her。 The cliffhanger has left me wishing I had waited for the second book to come out before reading this。 But overall I enjoyed this book a lot。
